Pacquiao-Bradley Investigation

It appears today that the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley might go under investigation  Bob Arum today said he wants the scoring to be looked into because he believes something was amiss after the fight.  Many have turned on Arum, saying it was controversy in which he orchestrated, but he denied the claims.

He said he thought the scoring for Bradley was unjust and he wants to further investigate the matter.  Will this do in any good? Probably not and this just only adds to the notion that boxing is a corrupt machine that is only concerned on making money.

It is also unfortunate that all of this came to fruition when it appeared that Manny may actually fight Floyd Mayweather next.  This is all up for debate, however, as many felt that his mega-fight would never happen because Mayweather wanted stricter drug testing and a bigger cut than Pacquiao.

Another interesting thing coming out of the fight was whether or not the fight was fixed in order to make a rematch.  Posters of the exact rematch were already made, and it truly makes you wonder on whether this was predetermined or not.  Timothy Bradley even tweeted that he was ready for the rematch before the first fight even took place.

Regardless of the controversy, Manny has now lost 4 fights in his career and Timothy Bradley is the new welterweight champion of the world.  Bradley said he would welcome a rematch in order to prove who the real winner of the night was, which we all know was Pacquiao.  Is this a foreshadowing to come for the end of boxing?  Stay tuned!
