Martin Kampmann KO's Jake Ellenberger

Martin Kampmann was bloodied but not beaten.  From the opening bell, Ellenberger swarmed Kampmann rocking him early and sending him to the canvas.  Kampmann would survive and threatened from the bottom with submissions.

Round two was more of the same as Ellenberger threw caution to the wind and swung for the fences.  Kampmann stayed composed and landed a good right hook that sent Ellenberger backward.

Kampmann would then land a viscous knee sending Ellenberger to the canvas and Kampmann kept punching until the ref stepped in.  Kampmann wins via knockout in in the second round.

This is yet another comeback win for Martin Kampmann and he is maybe one win away from the title shot.  Up next for Kampmann is a match up with Johnny Hendricks, which should prove to be yet another thrilling fight for both fighters.

Ellenberger almost knocked him at twice, but he didn't capitalize when he had him hurt.  Ellenberger put on a show for the fans and this is what happens when you throw caution to the wind.  He can only grow from this loss and I am sure he will be back better than ever.  Congratulations to Martin Kampmann.
